My German Intelligence looking for The Brady Bunch dream

I’m a grown Marcia Brady, and I’m bringing the grandkids with me to visit the family.  We are hiding from German Intelligence, because they seek my little Rosary bracelet made of Connemara marbles from Ireland.  They insist it has hidden powers.

I get inside the Brady home, and everyone is there but Greg.  He’s been gone for years, and they think he’s dead.  I tell the folks that these people are coming, and they want my Rosary bracelet.  Mike Brady (my dad in the dream….yes he was alive in my dream) decides he will wear it on his wrist and tuck it up inside his sleeve.  Surely, he explained, they would never think a man would be wearing it.

They arrive, and storm the house, unsuccessful in their search.  They decide to leave.

In the meantime, there is an announcement that they are looking for people to do a ghost hunt on a property, and we find this quite interesting, so we go to the property to find someone in some type of armor walking up and down an alley, clanking some sort of metal staff along the fence.  We say “Why hide behind your metal? ”  A few moments later, this little elderly man comes out.  He explains he has been guarding the property for years, as have his ancestors, and he parks cars also.  He meets with several of his fellow car parkers on a picnic table.  He decided he has given up guarding the ghostly grounds, and must pass it on to someone younger.

Then, suddenly, back at the Brady household, someone falls through the doorway.  It is Greg….He has been on a top secret mission as a spy, and has been missing for years.  He had suffered some sort of terrible trauma, had been in a coma, and awoke, but is still in bad shape.

As I go in to see him, there is something coming across his portable radio.  He hooks up my cell phone to this device, and the call is from Mark Henry (The WWE Wrestler), who is also a spy but masquerading as a truck driver.  He has a special shipment, and needs to coordinate a meeting place.

Once Greg wakes up, we all pose for pictures.

My Lost Ghost in the Living Room Dream

Last night was chalk full of dreams.  This one involved my mom, the house I grew up in, and the ghosts that inhabited that house.

I was asleep in my old room at 548, the house I grew up in.  We were waiting for the folks to get home from their New Years Eve celebration.  I come out to find my mom sitting in her rocking chair next to the big 3 windows in the living room.  I took a seat on the couch next to her.

She said “Can you tell?  The spirits are not happy with the work that was done.”  I said “What do you mean?”  She replied “Just wait, you will see.”  Suddenly, the vase that was sitting on the little end table between the couch and the rocking chair went toppling to the ground.  She said “See?  They are upset this time.  They won’t hurt you, but they miss the house the way it was.  They need somewhere to go.”

Suddenly, off to my left, I catch a glimpse of someone running past me.  Dressed in brown, this someone ran through the doorway into what used to be my old room, and what was eventually my parent’s room.

“Mom, did you see that?”  Mom said, yes and she was looking for somewhere else to go.  “She’s lost” said Mother.  “She wants to follow you.  She’s just lost.”

My Bad Joke Superman Dream

I am Supergirl, sitting at home, minding my own business, getting ready for a family gathering, when suddenly, a group of hideous looking evildoers busts through the door of my family home.  They say they are going to take over the world, but first, they have to take over Superman.  And, they have brought kryptonite to assist them in their evil plan.  They know he’s going to show up, and will take him down when he gets there.

Little do they know that kryptonite has very little effect on me.  However, if Superman does show up, the effects could be devastating!  So, I use my telepathic powers to alert Clark Kent to not come to the house for the get together.  Even though they have no idea that Clark and Superman are one in the same, we are certain that they will find out once Clark is exposed to the kryptonite.

The only other family member who could possibly help us is our cousin Dennis.  Dennis is a tall, lanky fellow with bleach blonde hair and is kind of the odd one out when it comes to super powers.  While he can fly, and change clothes in a phone booth quickly, he is not known for his great physical strength.  He is, however, really really good at telling really really bad jokes, and kryptonite has no effect on him whatsoever.  Also, he’s got this power to stare you down like nobody’s business.

Dennis slips out of the house to the phone booth outside, and comes back in.  He takes his stance, hands on hips, and stares down the evildoers.  There is practically fire coming out of his eyes, and they feel the burn.  Then, he proceeds to tell his bad jokes….a string of one liners that would have been triple x’d out on America’s Got Talent.

They beg him to stop, and eventually can’t take it anymore, and they give up.  Bad Joke Superman saved the world.
